Function Description

This function lets the user modify the privacy password. The user can call this function only prior to starting the agent to overwrite the default.

Parameters

• flags

  Not used.

• password

  The new privacy password.

• userName

  The userName to which the password belongs to.

Returns

• TM_ENOERROR

  Success.

• TM_PASSWORD_TOOLONG

  Password is longer than TM_SNMP_MAX_USER_AUTH_PSWD_LEN.

• TM_PASSWORD_NOT_PRINTABLE

  Password contains unprintable characters.

• TM_ALLOCATION_ERROR

  Failure to allocate memory for the agent global variables.

• TM_RECORD_NOTFOUND

  There is no record of the username in the SNMP Init table.
